This irregular to rounded deciduous tree will reach about 40' tall and has fine, compound green leaves with blue flowers. Jacaranda's main blooming season is in spring and summer, but it will often produce sporadic blooms in fall as well.

Tall grasses are highly combustible.

The Catalina cherry is an evergreen tree or shrub that grows 15'-40' high and wide. It develops showy white flowers in the spring and red fruit in the fall. It is resistant to oak root fungus. The Catalina cherry is native to California, is drought tolerant, is a beneficial insect plant, and attracts butterflies.

Red Rose Penstemon

Botanical name: Penstemon superbus

Red Rose Penstemon has vivid coral flowers along 3' stalks bloom from April to May. Leaves are blue green, 4"long, and 1.5" wide. The foliage is often purplish.
